Welcome to Joly WonderWorks
We believe in the power of stories to help children grow with kindness, courage, empathy and a sense of belonging.
Rocco the Red Nose was created from something close to our hearts. Pit bull–type dogs are often judged by their appearance, their breed name, or the stories people hear about them before anyone gets to know the individual dog. Too often, they are feared, misunderstood or written off before they are given a chance.
Through Rocco, we wanted to tell a warm and honest story about friendship, second chances and looking beyond first impressions. Rocco is strong, loyal, affectionate, playful and deeply connected to the people around him — and his story reminds children that a label never tells you everything about someone.
Joly WonderWorks is growing beyond one book, with future stories, characters and family-friendly creations built around kindness, courage, belonging and giving others a fair chance.
